Evolution, one of the greatest lies perpetrated on mankind.

Our whole premise for existence is based on the fact that someone told us man evolved over millions of years, and we believe them.

Let me ask you a couple of questions.

Can a body exist without blood? Can a brain exist without a body? Can lungs exist without a heart? Can any of these things exist without veins?

So which one evolved first?

In order for man to exist, as living soul, man would have to come into existence, all at once, as a fully functioning living person and there is only one place where we are told the truth about this and its found in Genesis 2:7.

Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis should be our premise and starting point for how we got here. Now use this premise and seek to know the One who made us and why.

Acts 17:26-27 From one blood God made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us.

Let's take this time to learn what God is like by what He has revealed to us about Himself.

God is Spirit, which means He is invisible so He must be comprehended and understood with the mind through revelations of Himself in the natural realm.

Comprehend: to grasp mentally, understand.

John 4:24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

God is also love.

1 John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Love is something we can experience, comprehend and feel with our emotions through God's acts of compassion and manifested presence in our lives.

Romans 5:5 we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

No one has ever seen a physical form of God at anytime, but He has spiritually made Himself known in personality and character.

1 John 4:12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

God is holy and His holiness is as a consuming fire to that which is unholy.

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Deuteronomy 4:24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Because God is a holy consuming fire, no one can see Him and live but all who want to see His glory can, through a revelation of His personality and character, for example, Moses. Moses asked to see God and this is what happened.

Exodus 33:17-20 So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.” And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.”

When Moses asked to see God’s glory, he didn’t see a shape of a Being, but rather, he comprehended God's character.

Exodus 34:6-8 The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out, “Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations.” Moses immediately threw himself to the ground and worshiped.

God is Spirit so He must reveal Himself in a tangible way so that we can know and experience His reality and have fellowship with Him in a personal and intimate way.

What God has done, through His creation, helps us to understand and comprehend what He is really like.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities his eternal power and divine nature – have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork.

Psalm 97:6 The heavens declare His righteousness, and all the peoples see His glory.

We can see from creation that God loves beauty and because He has given us eyes, that can see color, we can enjoy His expression of beauty.

God is unique yet divers and He wants us to experience and enjoy uniqueness in diversity.

God knows what is pleasurable to the senses so He gave us a nose so that we can smell and enjoy all His pleasant smells and aromas.

Did you know that the only reason why we have taste buds, is so that we could enjoy all the different flavors and textures that God created.

God is a personal and intimate Being who loves relationships so He gave us emotions to experience, express and enjoy love, friendships and intimacy.

God is a covenant keeping God who is faithful and loyal. He is a family orientated eternal Being.

God is a holy, righteous and just God who will, by no means, allow evil to continue.

Through creation we can see that God is God and we're not.

We can see and understand through creation how God is a very loving, caring, passionate and personal Being who loves His creation and all that is good but the most accurate reflection of God's person and character is seen in His Son.

Colossians 1:15 Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Hebrews 1:3 The Son reflects the glory of God and shows exactly what God is like.

John 14:9 Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

Messiah is the exact reflection of God and we're supposed to be like Messiah, He's our example to follow.

1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in God ought himself also to walk just as Jesus walked.
